According to the Hillsboro Police Department, at midnight a traffic stop in the 1000 block of North High Street revealed that none of the occupants of the vehicle had valid driver's licenses. A police dog also indicated controlled substances inside.
The driver, 21-year-old Austin Burton of Columbus, was found to be in possession of a large amount of pseudoephedrine. A search of the vehicle revealed multiple items and chemicals used in the manufacture of drugs.
The case will be submitted to the Highland County Prosecutor's Office.
