A Washington CH man was arrested for drug trafficking within 1,000 feet of a school, Friday. Authorities served a warrant at 912 Williard Street just prior to noon and say 23-year-old William Ferguson fled the house but was apprehended after a short foot chase.
Fayette County Sheriff Vernon Stanforth says Ferguson was seen discarding several bills of U.S. currency and authorities found heroin, marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and cash in the home.
Ferguson was taken to the Fayette County Jail on charges of trafficking in heroin and marijuana (within 1,000 feet of a school), obstructing official business, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
