The conclusion of the Fayette County Fair signals the approach of the fall sports season. All fall sports may begin practicing/try-outs on Friday, August 1st under OHSAA guidelines. Miami Trace High School will be hosting a parent meeting for all student athletes interested in participating in a fall sport on Tuesday, July 29th at 6:30pm in the High School Auditorium.
Attendance at this meeting will satisfy the OHSAA preseason meeting requirement. Topics to be covered at this meeting include the new online athletic registration system, as all required paperwork can now be completed online with the exception of the physical evaluation; season schedules; expanded athletic training services; and the revised athletic drug testing program.
A reminder that all required paperwork must be filled out and on file before a student athlete will be permitted to participate.
