SCOL Fall Season Wrap Up

With the first season of play for the new alignment of the South Central Ohio League under its belt, Commissioner Jim Winner was pleased with how all has played out.

Only SCOL Football champ Clinton-Massie continues with its season, but the league was pleased to have three team (Miami Trace and Chillicothe) in post season play and the Hillsboro GIrls Soccer team's Regional appearance.

Winner was pleased that 165 of the 166 First Team All-SCOL Selections were in attendance at Grace Community Church in Washington Court House for the banquet.

The Winter Sports season is on the cusp. The SCOL Girls Basketball Preview will be held at Hillsboro High School this Friday at 6:00pm. The Boys will be the following Friday also at Hillsboro.

Winner says the Winter season should be just as exciting and two sports he's anxious to watch ar Bowling and Swimming.

The league will be at full strength come August 1st 2014 with the addition of the eighth school as the Wilmington Hurricane rejoins the SCOL.

Girls Cross Country: Hillsboro

Football: Clinton-Massie

Boys Golf: Washington

Girls Golf: Hillsboro

Boys Soccer: Chillicothe

Girls Soccer: Clinton-Massie

Volleyball: Washington

Girls Tennis: Chillicothe
