WCH Girls, Miami Trace Boys SCOL Track Champions

Washington Court House girls won their 5th straight SCOL championship Thursday night while the Miami Trace Panther boys repeated as league champions.

GIRLS

Louis Reid Lady Lions continued to dominate in the league championships winning their 5th consecutive championship.  

Using three relay teams wins & double event victories by Alexis Gray the Lady Lions use home field advantage to win a very competitive league meet,

Washington scored 158.5 points (down from last year's 178 points). Hillsboro Lady Indians & Miami Trace Lady Panthers finished 2nd & 3rd again this year repeating last year performances. Hillsboro scored 130.5 points & 103.5 points respectfully. Chillicothe was a close 4th place at 103 points. Rounding out the scoring: Clinton-Massie (80), Greenfield McClain (70.5) & East Clinton (13 points).

Pole Vault----Claire Corzine of Chillicothe defeated defending champ Emily Bath of Washington Court House in a jump off after both at 9 feet

Long Jump---Tanea Cousins-Chillicothe       16 feet 1 inch

BOYS

Miami Trace Panthers boys captured their 2nd straight SCOL title winning five running events to beat a tough McClain boys team. The Panthers captured the title with 143 points, Greenfield McClain had 117 points edging out Chillicothe who finished a close third with 116 points.

Rest of the field saw Hillsboro 4th (93 points), Clinton-Massie (73.5), Washington CH (73) & East Clinton (27 points),
